Frequently Asked Questions
Why doesn't my iPhone/iPod work when connected to the 30-pin connector?
Make sure the cable has been securely inserted into the USB connection on the Sound Cube and the 30-pin connector on your iPhone/iPod. If the screen "Device not supported" appears on the Sound Cube, you may be using an early model Apple device that is not compatible with the USB connection functionality. If that's the case, the product will work just fine by connecting the 3.5mm cable to the headphone jack on the Apple device and the "Line in" on the Sound Cube. Select Aux 1 for playback. If your iPod/iPhone model is in the supported list and you see "No device connected" or "Device not supported", it is possible that the cable you're using has been damaged. You can check by using the USB to 30-pin cable that came with your Apple device. If that works, contact our customer service for a replacement cable.
Why does my Sound Cube turn off on it's own?
We've enabled a sleep mode to conserve battery life. If the product is left on with no input signal, the Sound Cube will turn off. To turn the Sound Cube back on, simply turn the left knob all the way counter-clockwise until you hear it click "off". Turn the knob again clockwise, you'll hear the "on" click and the Sound Cube will power back up.
Why does my Sound Cube display turn off?
After 5 minutes, when running on batteries, the display LEDs and equalizer on the sound cube go dark to conserve battery life. Touching any of the knobs on the Sound Cube will bring the display back.
